Condoms

So, my boyfriend and I are both virgins. Me and him have done oral with some other people and with each other, and we are thinking about taking the next step and have anal. As we are both virgins except for oral, we both think we are clean when it comes to STDs. However, none of us can be sure, as we've never been tested. We've also both heard that condoms will probably make it more uncomfortable for both of us, but we're not sure whether or not to risk it. We know the saying is that we should never risk it, but in this case it looks like a very safe risk, so we're having second thoughts and I figured I could ask for some opinions here. Do you think we should use it, or do you think we will be fine without them?Thanks in advance!
