**UPDATE** I came out to my team!

I don't know what I would've done if they wouldn't let me play ice hockey…Yesterday I made a post about my friend outing me to our ice hockey team. Since then, I have decided to officially come out to them through our group chat.They thought it was all a joke. But I explained to them that the guy I usually bring to the games and sometimes sit with is my boyfriend. I never talked about girls or anything with them, either.Well, it turns out they were really supportive about it. It was through our group chat but I could tell they had positive reactions! Now I am very excited and hopeful about my future.I am not out to my family but I feel like this is going to help me come out. I feel like my family would be very proud of me to know that I am gay and pursuing my dreams. They are behind me 100% and I am almost positive they would support me being gay.It was very scary to come out but a lot of the people on here made me feel like I should be my authentic self. Not only that, but it was also time. I can't wait to introduce my boyfriend to my team!!!! And eventually my family!!! And if I keep pushing myself and meeting with people you guys will be able to see me too one day!!!! :)
