How to date with Herpes???

So, I always find it hard enough to find guys and especially guys that I click with. But not too long ago my serious ex ended up lying to me and giving me herpes... I feel like no one would even look at me anymore, even though they never really did. It's a newer diagnosis too, so if anyone out there has herpes also, what should I know?
