Should I meet someone on Craigslist?

I'm 30 years old, and live in a big gay-friendly city.I have never been intimate with a man. I am bisexual, and have had relationships with women. I want to meet a guy that I can trust, and experiment with. It may sound shallow, but I want to make sure they have a nice dick before I meet them.Is Craigslist a bad idea? Do I risk inviting some creepy weirdo into my apartment, and regretting it? Is there a better way? I don't really want to "date" or meet in public.
