Prep questions?

1) I'm afraid I'm going to hurt myself with the enema bulb. It's like a goddamn pen, even with lubricant. How do I avoid damaging myself?2) Is it normal to shave? Like, I can ask him obviously but in general...?3) Should I work up to it? Like, with a toy or something. Again, I'm afraid of hurting / tearing or something.Anyway, thank you! I'd like to reduce the likelihood of disaster stories ahaha
