My English Teacher Said Something About Gay People I Cant Get Out Of My Head.

We read an essay in class about a gay bar that was being shut down after being open for 20+ years. While discussing the essay one of my best friend's said "I hate being around gay guys because I hate when guys act like girls" I'm closeted and this came as a bit of a shock to me, but it's not that big of a deal to me that he doesn't like gay people too much tbh. My English teacher said something in response that I never considered "I've never met a girl that acts like the stereotypical gay guy" for some reason I can't get this out of my head. Not really a question but I'm curious has anyone ever said you act like a girl?
