In a world where people were 100% authentic to themselves, would gay and straight men alike act equally "masc" & "fem"?

On here we always see people discussing how "masc" gay guys are acting straight because of their own suppressed self hate or something along those lines. I feel like a large number of straight men would also act much more "feminine" if they weren't also constantly trying to fit a perfect masculine ideology.
