Can't stop loving him

I've loved him for three years and can't get over him no matter how much he hurts me. I feel like I'll die if there's no reconcilitation. He's straight and we were buddies until I told him how I felt and he pushed me away. Now he doesn't say hi when we pass in the corridors in college. It feels like there's a big emptiness inside that's eating me up.
