To all U.S citizens on here, this is an emergency. Please forgive me if anyone is offended by this, but we are on the edge of a catastrophe

It seems the U.S. presidential election is drifting away from Hillary Clinton and towards Donald Trump.If Trump wins, I am sure you don't need me to tell you, that his sidekick Mike Pence, who will become Vice President, will have a major role in dictating government policy.One of the things that Pence will surely do is to undo all the advances the gay community has made in the past few years. We have seen what he has done in Indiana to the LGBT community and it is extremely scary.If Trump wins it means he, no doubt aided by Pence, will get to choose at least the next one or two Supreme Court judges and you can be sure these will be rabid social conservatives.With a combination of a Republican majority in Congress, Pence dictating policy in the White House and a majority of socially conservative judges in the Supreme Court, you can expect all the gains of the past few years to be reversed.We are heading into a nightmare scenario for many communities, for women, for Hispanics, for black people, but especially for the gay community.Please I urge you to do something now, anything you can, to encourage people to go out and vote for Hillary. She may not be perfect, but she is light years away from the homophobic Pence-Trump team.In just over a week's time it will be too late. Now is the time to help get out the vote for Clinton, to persuade friends who may not have been planning to vote to do so and to encourage everyone who is leaning towards Clinton to make sure they vote.Please don't let us wake up to the utter catastrophe of a Pence-Trump presidency.If you don't believe me about Pence, just check out his record in Indiana. If you don't believe me about the Supreme Court, check out what Trump has said about it.This is the 21st century and this nightmare should not be happening. These two guys are like something out of a bad dream set in the 19th century.Whatever spare time you have over the next week, please use it to help get the vote out and prevent Pence and Trump from taking hold of the reins of government.We know that Trump will mostly be a figurehead in the White House. Much of the day-to-day policy making will be handed over to Pence, who will take great delight in inflicting his hateful and ignorant attitudes on our gay brothers and sisters.It will be like turning the clock back to the bad old days. I feel physically sick about the prospect of these guys redirecting America down a homophobic path.There will be more suffering for the LGBT community. It will be cruel and grossly unfair. Please do whatever you legally and physically can to stop this nightmare from happening.Thank you.
