Do LGBT Americans have legitimate reasons to be afraid of Trump's administration?

The forecast for LGBT rights isn't looking very good at the moment, but is there any reason to fear for my immediate safety/freedom?Specifically, I keep hearing about Pence and conversion therapy. And people are freaking out like they would be forced into conversion therapy, which sounds like fear mongering to me.Is it even legal or possible for the government to mandate that?Or could we see conversion therapy being promoted and endorsed by the government?My heart aches for kids who will be growing up and figuring themselves out in the next 4-8 years. :(
