What's your response if you meet a man who you like in a street?

It happened couple days ago,I meet a fantastic man! he looks really good.i wanted to greet him but I was so afraid of doing that… Cause I didn't know he is gay or not. What you guys would do??Say Hi or Smile with nod?!
