Thinking about moving to Philadelphia!

I recently got out of a relationship and have decided that this is my chance to move away from the Northwest (the only part of the US I have ever been since birth). I really want to move to a city with a Portland/Seattle feel but also affordable for a single guy. My research led me to Philadelphia but was wondering if anyone had any opinions on a move such as this and how a young gay man can both fit in and thrive in the city.Sorry if this is not the right subreddit!
