Help me out, guys

Hello all,My boyfriend of 11 months and I had a rough morning. I woke up to a text asking me to call him once I woke up. He proceeded to tell me that he went to a local gay bar he frequents Sunday night behind my back somewhat and while intoxicated made out with another man. I ended the relationship pretty instantly, as I was hurt. I'm feeling pretty perplexed right now and was hoping the awesome people of this subreddit can help me out.Backstory: going on 11 months, he makes me quite happy and I think about him all the time. Since dating, I've asked him to refrain from going to that bar alone - as he often get overly intoxicated - and I know it's a very "friendly" bar with mostly singles He continued to go to this bar, which usually lead in fights.Thoughts? I feel like I would love to hear him say he'll quit drinking..and would even consider joining him, but not sure if he'd even be willing to make that decision. He's been a loyal boyfriend and we so enjoy our time together. Alcohol and the bar have been the only contributor to our fights.At this point, should I move on? Should I attempt to make things better? Ugh.
