Gay Virgin need advice

A bit About myself I live in the south of England Im 25 and a virgin. There where no gay people where I grow up we where taught it was wrong. Not sure what to do as I feel robbed of my comming of age. Haven't even had my first kiss yet, I almost kissed my best and only friend at school (he asked me too) but our pe teacher caught us and shouted at us for couple of minutes. After that day my friend wouldn't talk to me. now and again I see him in town and he runs away :/The question/s I wanted to ask Is it too late? who wants someone this inexperienced Where can I meet other gays Ive tried apps but theres only about two guys close to me and they both hide faces and are in the 50s. I dont drive yet saving up for lessons so its hard to get anywhere. I dont have a single friend I feel alone and its worse everyday. Im lost
