creepy thing on instagram...

Sorry if it'll be a long post. I Was chilling on instagram and I received a msg from a guy I follow (from Russia) and I am 99% sure it's not a catfish. By the way he sent a message talking about selling nude. I was not interested at all since I'll never waste my money on that but I grown curious and we moved on telegram and I was like"you should not do this things" "why are you selling your picture" "search for a job" looking like a Modern Jesus (pun intended). I was curious because I am preparing research for a documentary about homosexuality in Russia (just collecting some information now and then nothing serious for now). Btw I asked for his age and he said "17". At the moment I got a bit upset because he was underage (he looks older) and actually I was talking with a 17yo boy who wanted to sell me nudes that is a crime in the 99% of the world I guess. I blocked him on Instagram and flagged (didn't do on telegram yet). Anyway my question: do I risk something just talking with him? I don't think could be possible but I just want to be sure. (I started recently careing about being spyed -I was a denier not so long ago). I was silly I know, but that's the story. Sorry for bad English, it's the best I can.
