Should I get contacts, or no? Need an opinion.. thanks!

So I'm thinking of getting contacts purely for aesthetic reasons, but my friend insists I look better with them. My parents don't like them and say that I should get contacts, so I'm not sure what to do.Only thing bad about contacts is that I look extremely young without them, which I don't like. I'm 23, but without them, I hardly look 16.Also, side note: do gay guys like dudes with glasses? Or nah?
