Dating someone in the closet

so i meet this guy about 2 months ago. We have been going out, traveling since then. however he is still somewhat in the closet meaning his friends and family dosent know he is gay. however, he grabs my hand and kiss me in public.i want a relationship but he said that he is not 100% sure on what he wants just yet since I'm the 1st guy he has "dated" so its all new for him. I had 3 committed long term relationship 2.5yrs+ so I'm looking for something long term. we are both 30.he did tell a friend, that he is gay and dating someone. he showed me the text and told me that it was big for him.what should i do? i really want to be with him
