HELP!! reasons why we should come out?

hi.. I'm a 20 years old male guy who has recently come out to best friends.. They reacted amazingly good but I'm still very insecure, I'm really afraid of what people (especially family) will think of me if I come out to everybody.. Also, I feel like I'm not a happy person although I have great friends and achieved great things in life. One of these friends I came out to told me that I'm not happy because I'm not being myself 100% of the time and sexuality is something important at my age. What do you guys think? should I come out? is it really an important factor to be happy? and what about my worrying about people's thoughts?
