French government briefly pretends to give gay and bisexual men equal rights to donate blood in 2016

Men who have sex with men are currently banned from giving blood in France. The government has finally proposed lifting this ban in 2016, to general acclaim, but on one condition: you can't have had any sexual context with another man for the past YEAR. So, not quite there yet, then.
