My mom gets asked constantly what it's like to "know you'll never get to have grandkids"...

(I'm gay and people pretty much assume that means no kids, which in my case is true because I have fertility issues and DO NOT WANT KIDS EVER lol)

and all she ever says is "You know, I wish I had time to worry about stuff like that, but I'm too busy enjoying the fact that my daughter is happy, healthy and successful. Oh and also: it is none of my freaking business." People never know how to react, it's priceless. To them it's such a big deal (because my choice to stay cf clearly affects their lives how?) and she couldn't possibly care any less.
