I thoght I was liberal. Why I left liberalism.

I support gay rights, a woman's right to control her uterus, sexual expression, and am generally anti interventionist ie self defense only. I believe in equal opportunity, a government that doesn't whore itself out to special interests and an end to the war on drugs. However, my encounters with social justice warriors has left me disgusted and disillusioned. Your mere existence as a white straight male marks you as an oppressor. There must be equality of outcome so we will discriminate against historically advantaged groups in order to manufacture equality. Blacks have no agency in their life choices and should not be judged for rioting because it is all society's fault. In my progressive home state the taxes keep on going up yet the school budgets keep on going down. I am literally taxed for using the toilet. Contrary to popular belief liberals are also beholden to special interests. The teachers can get away with absolute bullshit due to the power of the teachers unions as schools in non rich areas go down the gutter. The Unions have payed off the state government to create bullshit pet projects that line them with $$$. They even work in the middle of day causing gridlock traffic on the highways. All the jobs are fucking gone and my generation is bailing to New York or Boston to find work. Our debt is through the roof yet no one wants to take a look at where all our tax dollars are going. Any place that is not a Wall Street or Yale bedroom community is rusting and the Dems make the same broken promises about how things are going to change. Also the hypocrisy, we oppose the Christian theocracy but if anyone dares say anything negative about Islam the religion of peace, they are a racist. I think I know what's best for those poor oppressed minorities but I would never let my kids go to school with them or actually associate with them outside of a patronizing context. They call Fox News liars but willfully omit facts about Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown as well as publish stories about Rape culture based off lies as seen with UVA and Duke lacrosse. I'm an Asian second generation American btw. No I don't consider myself conservative I am independent and have rejected all ideologies and isms aside from Atheism.
