I wanna know if hes gay or bi :(

Okay so i've explored a bunch of scenarios about this and it just comes out negative, probably because of my insecurity.In my French class there's this guy Im interested in and I really want to get to know him more, but im not sure if he's single, bi, gay, bi-curious etc. We don't have assigned seats so everyone sits where they usually sit, or it would be random. This guy sat next to me a couple times and out of the corner of my eye I can see him looking at me but briefly. He looks at me a couple times and looks away, but when he looks away he'll sigh or he'll rub his face and sigh. I get really nervous because I don't know what he's thinking, am I ugly? Does he not want me sitting here? A lot of things go trough my head. We don't know each other and its hard for me to make friends so I have no idea how to go about this.I've seen him talk to a few girls, but still I have no way of telling if he's bi or whatever, even though im gay lol. Or when I talk sometimes he will turn and glance at me (when I talk to my friends) and I try to make it like i don't notice he's looking because im too afraid im going to fuck things up. Im really awkward and nervous and I get this weird feeling about him that something is going to happen and its telling me to wait but I just don't know at this point.Please help, I need advice..
