Lust for Love.

Ok so I met a boy about a week ago. Hes 17 and I am 19 we have hungout 2 times and he has already asked me if what were doing counts as "dateing" I'm at a point in my life where I know love doesn't happen like that. He is mistaking his lust for Love and trying to jump into something way to quick. Is there a way to explain this too him without coming of as mean. Or is this a situation where I should probably not involve myself as I think if I were to Even cut him lose now he would be bothered.
