So I had a very good friend for about 5 years and also knew his boyfriend. We went through a lot together: family issues, relationships, going out, attending gay pride etc.I moved to another bigger city for work (he visited often) and then overseas where I am now, and the friendship cooled off but I still had a great esteem for him.We kept in touch here and there and I knew he was planning on getting married. Fast forward to last fall, I hear nothing and all I saw were Facebook updates and pictures of the event. I though about sending a card/gift but never acted on it.I just un-friended them both on Facebook (friend, groom) and kept silent. I get it, I am not a relevant person in his life anymore and it's ok, but it bothered me.What would you have done?
