Looking for legal advice/clarification about my work situation...

As the title suggests, I am looking for some legal advice/clarification regarding my work situation. (Note that I have no issues currently with my job and love it)I currently work for a company that is based in Texas and more specifically Houston. I do not live there but I do live and work in a remote office for this company in Colorado (much better weather and views imo haha) My checks come from the main office in Houston, TX though which is the key point.A little background on me.... I am out to all my family and friends but not out at work. Ever since I started at this job, I have been hesitant to come out at all. Not that it is any of their business but it sucks having to dodge and tiptoe through certain conversations, especially as we are a small (7 people including me) and more intimate work environment. Most of my coworkers are on the conservative end except for one coworker. This has led to some interesting political arguments around the office.So this is my dilemma and question. Though I live in Colorado, which has LGBT workers rights, I still get paid and technically work for a company that is based out of Houston, TX. Can I still be fired for being gay?I have searched and searched for information and clarification but I haven't found anything remotely close to my situation. It is not that I wanna go around flaunting that I am gay, but I do like this company and my job and believe I could be with this company for 10+ years. I just don't want to be scared to bring up a BF in the future and when I do get married, I want to make sure we are covered through my insurance, 401k, etc.Can anyone with a little more legal knowledge about this topic be able to provide me with some insight/clarification?TLDR; I live and work in Colorado office, for a company based in Houston, TX (My paychecks come from there too) Looking for advice on if I can still be fired for being gay...
