weird question :o

so like i had a relationship like a year ago, it was nice and stuff but when we had sex or just cuddling (which i like) he looked at me with loving eyes so much that it scared me away for whatever reason and idk, i want to be loved and love but for some reason it scared me away and im afraid i will do the same for someone i love. any advice or explanation or whatever?!
