Advice on recent dates

I wanna start off by saying that I am somewhat new to the dating scene and need advice. So recently, I went on a date with a guy on grindr and we chatted for a bit before going on a date. We ended up going to the movies and then hooking up after talking for a bit. I feel like we really hit it off that night since we messaged each other for a good bit that night. When I asked him out for a second date that same night he seemed interested enough but when I was messaging him later in the week he would respond pretty slowly and i was usually the one initiating the texts. The day of our second date, he ended up being late enough that I ended up cancelling the date. When i messaged him about it, he apologized about it and we ended up meeting on later, ended up talking for a bit and then hooking up. When we were talking I mentioned if he was looking for more dates or to hookup and he mentioned that he was interested in more dates with me. I feel really confused about the situation just because he seemed genuinely interested in me when we were out together but seemed kinda distant when we were messaging each other. I really like this guy but i feel really confused about the whole situation. Advice?TL;DR: Met a guy on grindr and we clicked on the first date and hooked up. When we messaged each other it was usually me texting him and him responding several hours later. Went on second date and he didnt show. Met up later that day and he said he was interested in more dates and hooked up that night too. Not sure what to do.
