What are your experiences with Truvada and PrEP?

I live in Australia where PrEP and Truvada are not readily available as a means of preventing the contraction of HIV. I was wondering for those who have been on Truvada or another form of PrEP, what have your experiences been? How long have you been on it? How do you feel knowing you're significantly more protected from HIV?
