Anyone else worrying about the plebiscite in Australia?

So in Australia there is a survey of sorts as to whether we should legalise same sex marriage or not. Fine by me. What's making me feel like shit is that ad campaigns on TV are exempt from discrimination during this time which is totally wrong. Just yesterday I had someone come door knocking about voting no and just told him to go f*** himself and shut the door. How can I stop feeling like shit during this and stop worrying about the outcome?
