How to politely tell partner that the compliments and texts are too much too often?
So I recently entered a relationship with a guy who has always treated me well and has been very kind. We gave each other 3 months to get to know each other, started dating and now we are in a relationship. So now about 2 weeks into it, he constantly sends me texts or tells me in person how lucky he is to have someone so hot, how could he not smile with someone so hot, basically mostly compliments related to my looks.Other times he sends two dozen line long texts, which are cute and admittedly nice but they are now overwhelming (the last one I just managed to send a smiley face as I didn't know what to say and he apologized for sometimes writing too long). He won't leave me much personal space, texting every 5-10 minutes until I respond. And now recently he started saying he adores me. Which I can't say back yet.I like him, and this might seem like a first world problem, but it's tiring and it's started make me feel like a trophy instead of an actual person...So, all this to ask for advice on how to politely tell him I'm not just my looks and that adoring me 2 weeks into the relationship is too much to reciprocate so early?
