Is it weird to go to a club alone?

I've been going to this dance club a few times by myself and it hasn't been to bad. Usually I'll dance with anyone whos attractive that ask me to, but I don't know what to talk about. When people hit on and if they're not an old creeper I have no idea how to respond. I'm surprised that I've actually been able to enjoy myself, yet I still feel like a creep being there alone so if I actually see someone I can't find any way to talk to them. Am I over thinking? Anyone with clubbing experience that can tell me if other people actually give a fuck?
