Why everybody hates needy people?

what's really wrong with being needy if it's all about attention and showing that you need that person and you care about him. is it that drama they are talk about I meant every profile i have seen in dating app with name fun no drama or fun only . could more attention that bad. however I think every relationship needs some drama.
