Hey tops, why are you tops and not, say, vers?

I suspect that it's because you find it uncomfortable or it just hurts outright but maybe you've all got a myriad of reasons? No doubt for some of you it's about dominance but I'd be really interested to know how many tops have tried receiving and why you think you selected top.
