Gay Muslims/Ex-Muslims of Reddit, have you ever faced issues consolidating your sexuality with your religion, or issues with the Muslim community? (X-Post /r/askreddit)

Once again, this isn't meant to start an argument, but I've seen how amazing most of the Muslims have been in terms of respecting gay people from my other post(s). But I'd still like to know whether gay people have had good experiences or not.(Course, this question isn't just asking for the negative. If you guys have had positive experiences, it would be awesome to share that as well.)
