Am I wasting my time?
I am seeing someone I met on Grindr. He instigated the date, and he has been pretty consistently good with keeping things going (i.e. initiating other dates, introducing me to friends). It's been a bit over a month now, but there are some minor (or at least I think they're minor) details that are bothering me. He likes to tease and make fun of everyone, including me, which is fine because it indicates he's comfortable. Sometimes it borders on plain meanness though. Sometimes when I message him, he will take quite a while to respond, and lately I check Grindr, and find him online. I know this is petty, but it does irk me. Meanwhile, as soon as he messages me, I'm at his beck and call with my immediate responses. We aren't really exclusive yet but I tried to open up and ask him what he thought we were. His response was "I guess we are dating".If my judgement is any good, I would say he definitely likes me. But it always feels like he's constantly searching for something. Not only with me, but in general. Maybe he wants the best of both worlds. I know the obviously thing is to open up, but I don't want to seem overly invested in something that he might just be seeing as a bit of fun...
