Survey about dating within the gay community
So I had a couple of questions for my own interest about dating. I'm curious about dating and want to get a feel about what the atmosphere may be like in the community or at least the community here. I'm gay and I haven't been exposed to the LGBT dating culture at all, especially living in a very conservative state. I recently joined a dating site just to connect with other people and see what it's like, and there's some things I have noticed about people within the community when it comes to preferences and things like that.I wanted to ask the following questions:Is it wrong to not to want to date someone solely because they're more feminine, or is it just a sexual preference?Do you prefer to date someone who is more masculine or more feminine?Do you personally consider yourself to be more masculine or more feminine?Do you notice or think that masculine men tend to prefer masculine men and feminine men tend to prefer feminine men or vice versa? Is it wrong to prefer to date someone who is of your own racial background, or is it just a sexual preference? Is it wrong to not want to date someone because they are overweight, even slightly, or is it just a sexual preference?Have you personally witnessed, or do you believe there exists a negative stereotype associated with more feminine men in the gay community? If any, what stereotypes have you noticed or experienced when it comes to dating within the LGBT community?(Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer some of these questions!)Any other advice or commentary is welcome!
