Did you have 'gay tendencies' growing up?

Even though I totally repressed my being gay until I was 18, I've been told I had some 'gay tendencies'- and looking back... ya, definitely. I'd like to know any stories y'all might have about being oblivious to feeling gay when you were younger.I once told my mom I liked swallowing pills. She asked why, and I said because I liked the feeling of it in the back of my throat... mind you, I was about 10- that got me some funny looks.I was upset when my mom told me boys aren't supposed to shave their legs- I told her I wanted to look pretty too... that made her pretty nervous.One time in Junior High my friend was asking me if I liked any girls. I couldn't think of any, so he started mentioning random girls- I said one in particular looked kind of good, because "she kinda looks like a boy"- I didn't put two and two together...
