Anyone else went through a long period of denial?

4 year period, 12 - 16 years old. idk what my issue was cause my parents and friends would've been fine with it. But literally since 5th grade, kids at school made fun of me for being gay. I guess cause I look feminine and mostly hang out with girls. But I pretty much dated any girl who would which not braging because it obviously doesn't matter, but it was quite a bit of girls. But only two serious ones. And yeah obviously I was a kid for all that so it wasn't really dating, just hanging out. 8th grade, the second girl I was dating, really pretty girl, very nice and funny. And I wasted two months of her life, she got me alone at school and said this isn't going to work out. Broke up with me and said obviously i'm gay. And while she was saying that's ok and I still wanna be friends. I started yelling at her, call her names, said she was lying and had no proof and to prove it. Trying way to hard. And I proceeded to be a complete dick to her for over a year. Told my friends lies about her and shit. Were really ere really good friends now. But yeah, toward the end of my 9th grade year, me and the boy who would soon become my boyfriend started talking to me and hanging out. And later informed me he was also gay. And we've been dating for almost 2 years now!
