Is he into me?

Note: Please excuse my lacking knowledge of english language.So about three days ago I [M16] matched with this guy [M19] on an app (note that he wrote that he is looking for friends and single). We started talking and we instantly clicked. We somehow got on the topic of relationships and age gaps and that ours isnt numericaly that big, but more emotionally, because from the ages 16-19 you really change and mature. Back on topic, we both like books, have the same music taste, are kind of geeky etc. We finaly decided to meet up today at a cafe in town.We talked for about an hour until I had to go to my art school. We talked about everything that we mentioned while we were texting. We were really just talking and talking. Then when we paid and left the cafe i caught him looking at me and staring. We then walked to the bus stop and parted ways.When I got home he messaged me if I got home safe and that was the first thing I noticed. Then in the evening we started to text again and he told me multiple times how cute am I and good looking and that he likes the way I talk (that i talk interestingly). He also told me he wants to meet up again and all that.I'm confused. Does he want to be just friends or more? Are the thing I noticed just my wishfull thinking?Thank you for all you responses in advance.
