Advice needed

Help! I think I have fallen in love with a guy who lives in my house back down south (cornwall,UK). I'm not gay (no previous serious male sexual encounters), but recently I've been questioning my sexuality and have a strong suspicion that I am in fact, gay, which I am ok with. This is where my situation gets sticky for me as it's made me depressed and is effecting my life and people around me are taking notice. The guy in question is straight with a girlfriend, we're not friends. Purely for my own piece of mind, I feel the need to ask him if he would be with me, confronting him is a way I can climb out of this depression so I can get on with my life.
