Germany and Switzerland - All that Glitters is not Gold

I know I am probably going to be not well recieved, but still this is a place to share experinces. And here I go.Me and my friend did a little experiment. We both made a profile on Grindr. He is a caucasian. And I am an Indian. And we both do well among our ethicities when it comes to getting dates. Pretty well actually. We live in the UK and decided to do a little experiment. So after setting up the profiles. We decided to see how many responses we get in multiple places within a country and see how people are open to date guys of different ethnicities. The States for all it is worth and the huge public outcries of racisim didnt seem to transend much on Grindr actuallyYes he still got lot many responses than I did. A lot more. But there were a lot of Caucasians and African Americans and Latin Americans who just simply didnt care about my ethinicity and the chats went on as a normal Grindr conversation. ( hookups /dates/ flirting / occasional really great conversations the usual lol)And after living in states for a couple of years this doesnt seem far from how it actually is. Agreed a lot of caucasians do prefer dating caucasians. But there are many who are open to dating others. I even had an American boyfriend who simply adored me. And he was gorgeous. And it is the similar case with African Americans and Latin Americans. My friend on the other hand got a lot more responses than me and it was expected but it was all good. But he complains of there being a lot more competition since he didnt have washerboard abs or a near perfect torso. LolWe didnt do this in large metropolitian cities like NY and LA But rather smaller cities but with a sizeable populations Like Cedar Rapids, SLC, Etc.It was pleasantly suprising. So we decided to do the same experiment in some European countries with Fake GPS.France, Italy, Spain more or less were similar to US.Esp France. The French seem to care least about Skin color and ethinicity. But the worst cases were in Germany and Switzerland. These two countries seem to be really closed off to dating guys from other races. The only responses I got were from guys who are 40+( And I did respond to them, since they were pretty nice. ) even though I am only 22. Majority of the guys in Germany prefer to date only caucasians. He on the other hand got as many responses as he did in States. Probably even more. And again we didnt do it in Berlin or Frankfurt. We fake gpsed to Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart etc( since Southern cities are lot more racially accepting even in General than compared to some cities like Dresden, so we chose to see the responses in Southern cities) And it was just abysmal. And it even shows in the stories I hear. There are a lot of interracial gay couples in the states ( I have personally seen 3 weddings of caucasian marrying Indian, since I am Indian) Yet even though I have lived in Germany for about 6 months. Interracial couples are extremely rare. Even among straight people. Comparing it with States. Not just rare. Extremely rare. And I know, you are attracted to what you are. And this is technically not racism. And USA may truely have lot of actual racists. But it is diverse. A lot diverse. And the diversity is actually beneficial. Since it actually allows complete transluceny between different ethicities over time. And there is huge variety of preferences and likes, compared to Germany where people seem to be very monotonous with what they prefer. And, Germany even though extremely warm and open and welcoming, only welcomes you till a limit. You are never truely a part of them it seems.P.SIt is not an Objection to what people prefer It is rather an Observation to what people prefer.
