Age gap

Hey gays I’m 28 and I’ve just started hanging out with this very mature for his age 18 year old.. He’s cool to hang out with and he asked me to meet some of his friends who were in town for the day. I’m very unsure about it. Could that kind of age gap work in a serous relationship? Or should I just call it off now before he gets hurt? I remember what it’s like being with older Guys when your that young. I don’t wanna be that cunt that breaks his wee heart. He’s a very sweet boy
