Faith restored in humanity....a little

Here's a bit of a story for you.I went with my best friend to the store today for some last minute items. Naturally, the day before Christmas, it was a zoo.Well, to be brief, we were both getting a gallon of milk, and the dairy section was packed. Some middle aged woman, who looked like a Karen, so we will call her Karen, shoved her way past myself and my friend while spouting off, "Move queers. Know your place in society."Just so happens, the store manager was within earshot (saw her title on her store name tag). Her immediate response was, "Ma'am, you can leave your cart right where it is at and escort yourself out of my store. We don't need your business when you are treating other customers like that." I felt like someone valued myself and my friend and stood up for us. We were each given a 15% discount for the incident since we didn't make a scene out of it, and welcomed back anytime we wanted.Happy Holiday to everyone, of every background, and every disposition.You are valuable.
