Did I make a mistake?

Recwntly I started fooling around with my best friend. It started out with blowjobs and then escalated to me bottoming.Each time it's happened we've either been drunk or high. He was the first person I came out to a couple of years ago and I never thought this would happen because we've been friends for 10 years. Now he says he wants to not be friends anymore because he doesn't want it in his life. How am I supposed to react to that?
