Matthew Santos and stigma

I just watched the MTV episode of his death and a lot of people think it was an OI related to AIDS which kinda makes me wonder why they didn't use it to bring awareness and attention back into HIV/AIDS. Lastly if it was HIV/AIDS or Drugs or Suicide or whatever when are we gonna start talking about this stuff as objective things to have discussion about and possibly help save lives and or let people know there is support there for them. It doesn't do any good to hide this stuff in the shadows and I can't believe MTV went that route. This is Canada.
