I like my straight Friend.

So it all started when I walked in on the first day of my physio class and I saw this girl, She immediately caught my eye but didn’t think much of it. The school year progressed and we never talked but somehow we always Made eye contact or looked at each other and ofc i never did anything cause I’m in the closet and Im really shy so yeah, fast forward to the end of the semester. I got the balls and messaged her on social media to tell her I had a crush on her, I know creepy , anyways she told me she was straight so I eventually just left it at that cause she’s straight you know what can I do, but ever since the day I told her, we have become good friends we’ve been messaging back and fourth none stop , I’ve learned that she recently got out of a relationship with a guy who really hurt her and all this other stuff, the more I get to know her the more I like her she’s so genuine and nice, I’ve never met anyone like her and it kills me that she’s straight cause I know I could give her the world if she let me. I guess the point of this is has a straight person ever fallen for a gay friend or something along the lines of that ?!
