The reason for me being gay/bi

So I have been really on edge about this whole me being bisexual thing but the more and more I look back at my child hood, I can tell that I wasn't your normal city boy but instead more feminine that has a masculine exterior. I have been doing heavy research into the causes of homosexuality and sexual orientation. From what I have read there are two ways; one being genetics a group of genes that increase the attraction to the male sex, and the mother of a child during the trimesters giving off more estrogen and or more testosterone. After reading some of these studies it would make sense for me to be bi or gay due to the fact that both my mother and father have thyroid issues and issues with hormones in general. I hit puberty in the end of 11th grade of my private school, and both my parents have their thyroids taken out. Would like to know everyone's thoughts on this hypothesis and let me know some scientific answers thanks 😘
