Am I just being picky?

I have never dated anyone, kissed anyone, even met somebody who feels the same way back that I do to them. I'm only 15, turning 16 in a couple months so maybe I'm just overreacting when it comes to the fact that I'm worried that I'll never find someone. I'm not saying there aren't gay guys at my school, there are quite a few in fact, but they all aren't my type (being the stereotypical twink/reaaaaalllllyyyy effemminate gay) or they're just CREEPY. And some are both not my type AND creepy. Is it wrong to constantly hope for a guy to sweep me off my feet, and then not want to date the guys I have around me? Is the idea of meeting a nice jock gay like myself rare or not possible?
