How do I start opening up to guys?

I've lived in a very catholic household my whole life (although I'm atheist), so sadly anything gay related is shamed in my family. I have about 4 years of dating experience with girls, but I've never shown my interest in men because of my circumstances. However I'm finally moving away from my family, and I won't be with my homophobic roommates either in my new place. So given this, what's some good ways to start opening up to men again? Other than gay dating apps I'm not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
