College Crush

I recently got onto my school's campus. Right away there was a camp type thing then freshman orientation. There was this super cute guy that was in the same camp as me. I'm crushing hard. I've never talked to him, but I plan on saying saying hi the next time I see him. One of my friends was in the same small group as him though, should I tell her I think hes really cute and ask her to introduce us? What if he already has a boyfriend? What I'm just really nervous and wondering if y'all have any advice. I've never done anything like this before.
